  incidence of certain syndromes or diseases?

  i have seen the study on an unusual percentage of schizophrenia cases coming to emergency rooms being jehovahs witnesses, but i wonder if there have been other studies on what diseases/syndromes jehovahs witnesses tend to have.

  i'm noticing, for example, a lot of fibromyalgia and depression, but i wonder if anyone has actually studied if the incidence is actually higher among jws than in the general population.

  The (in) Errancy of Harvard's Mental health manual the DSM # 4 I spent 5 years under the care of Harvard's best and brightest in Boston Mass. right in the shadow of their campus. They misdiagnosed me BIG time.Simply put;destructive cult mind control and brainwashing (as yet) are not components of their sacred mental health 'Bible' the DSM #4. Somebody needs to fix the DSM! Go ahead,I dare you to tell a psychiatrist,"I have have been brainwashed and subjected to cult mind control". They will diagnosis you as DELUSIONAL just for saying such a thing...... Might as well,just go ahead and tell em,'you have been abducted by space aliens'. This is the kicker;the courts,military,journalist,general population,the jury pool, yes,even the good doctor's grandma knows what 'brainwashing' is. The intellectual idiots at Harvard can't grasp the concept,because they are intellectual idiots. The most likely diagnosis of destructive cult victims may be: A-typical P.T.S.D. ( Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) in plain language 'shell shock".

  silent lambs has failed..

  if any one has been a regular such as i have in the silent lambs site you will have noticed it has changed for the worse..as of last week i decided to withdraw from my membership...the site was designed by bill to vent, explain and devulge abuse that we have witnessed or experienced..as in my case as a former m.s i had seen two coverups in my hall...the parents to afraid to go to the police and the elders screaming jehovah will leave them if they tell on the org is the crime i had to bare with..so i spoke up and left the org...silent lambs was for that reason...now.

  it has mutated to a cheap lowlevel site for apologist and non witness who want to argue on unrelated topics..to top it off bill has given the site to an editor who is so silly and more involved than the participants why bother anymore....to bill..you lost your way...

  but that's ridiculous: every law is applied on a case-by-case basis in the courts.

  the amicus brief in the arizona case comes up with some policy arguments against punitive damages for religious institutions: these damages hurt "innocent donors.

  the organization of jehovah's witnesses boasts of having true brotherly love for one another.

  i always believed they did, although i never felt it growing up in it.

  i reckoned that there was something wrong with me since i never felt that "joy" and "spirit of love" that supposedly permeated the congregations.

  Beware of Love Bombing.... Leonard Brenner Love-bombing is characteristic of most cults. Prospects, recruits and members are drowned in a sea of love and caring. Recently in an evangelical church I heard the pastor describe his visit to two cultic groups in which he praised their love-bombing and urged that his church adopt the same loving attitude towards visitors and members.

  Should the evangelical church practice love-bombing? Is this what Christ meant when he said, "By this will all men know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another," (John 13:35)? I've heard cult members say, "Of course we practice love-bombing: Who'd want to be in a group or church that practiced hate-bombing?" This attitude highlights a common misconception. >>>Hate-bombing is not the opposite of love-bombing.<<< The opposite of love-bombing is unconditional love. Love-bombing is highly conditional. The cults will love you to death while you represent a prospective convert to their group.

  As a member a tight family love will surround you as you faithfully promote their cause. However, when it is clear that a prospect will not join the group or a member voices doubts, create waves, or leaves the group, all love ceases. Indeed scorn is immediately heaped on these individuals and remaining members are told not to have any contact with them. All time, effort and love-bombing is then directed towards new prospects and the faithful members. Is this the love evangelical churches should practice? Unconditional love is what God practiced when he sent his Son to die for us..... All hands abandon ship! The Watchtower's plagiarizing pirate ship was 'scuttled', before it ever left the docks. It was all the 'blind following the blind'.Their fallacious faith of credulity has been shipwrecked. Shanghaied to Shangri-La. The WT$ has even tried to hi-jack Jehovah's celestial chariot for a joyride..
